The Freedom Partnership is a national movement to ensure Australians do not contribute to the global problem of slavery and that people are not enslaved in Australia. A group identified at risk in Australia is the domestic industry, resulting in the current campaign Demand Dignity for Domestic Workers.
You can help in the following ways:
- Taking the Freedom Pledge
- Assess the domestic situations that you are aware of, such as live-in arrangements of vulnerable unpaid people – If you are or know anyone who you believe is in an enslaved working environment please contact the appropriate authorities and support organisations.
